X-Ray Database
Also known as X-ray interactions with matter
The development of physical-chemistry interactions of low-energy X-rays within matter (i.e., photoabsorption and coherent scattering) for photon energies above the absorption threshold. These tables compile available experimental measurements and theoretical calculations. For many elements, there is little or no published data, and in such cases, it was necessary to rely on theoretical calculations and Z-dependent interpolations. To improve accuracy in the future, considerably more experimental measurements are needed.
