The Indian Biological Data Centre (IBDC), located at the Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) in Faridabad, aims to create a centralized repository for biological and biotechnology data in India, addressing the lack of infrastructure for data sharing and management. Established with support from the Department of Biotechnology and in collaboration with the National Institute of Immunology and the International Centre for Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering, the IBDC will store diverse data types, including genomic, proteomic, and imaging data.
