The DrugBank database is a unique bioinformatics and cheminformatics resource that combines detailed drug (i.e. chemical, pharmacological and pharmaceutical) data with comprehensive drug target (i.e. sequence, structure, and pathway) information. The latest release of DrugBank Online (version 5.1.12, released 2024-03-14) contains 17,423 drug entries including 2,800 approved small molecule drugs, 1,671 approved biologics (proteins, peptides, vaccines, and allergenics), 135 nutraceuticals and over 6,726 experimental (discovery-phase) drugs.
