The National Earth System Science Data Sharing Service Platform is one of the 23 national science and technology infrastructure platforms identified by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Finance as the first batch of platforms. The platform is led by the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Since its construction in 2003, more than 40 domestic and overseas units have participated in the platform construction.
